The educational program closer to sea lions is possible again.

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before participating. If on arrival it appears that the conditions cannot be met, the participant will be denied participation and there is no possibility of a refund.

Do you want to know everything about these beautiful animals: Then this is your chance! During the program “Closer to sea lions” you will learn everything about the natural behavior of sea lions, you can feed a fish and you will see how incredibly strong the animals are.

Introduction to sea lions and explanation of the natural behaviour of Californian sea lions.

The behaviours displayed by the sea lion are natural behaviours, the attendant will tell you more about taking care of the animals.

Your encounter with the sea lion will be captured by a photographer, which you can collect afterwards from our photo service (included in the price).

And of course you can feed the animals a fish!

Minimum age is 8 years. Children up to 12 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult. An adult participant may accompany a maximum of 2 participating children. Participant;

– For this package, the purchase of an entrance ticket is compulsory on the date of the package;

– Speaks and understands Dutch or English;

– Can kneel independently;

– Has a swimming certificate, can swim well.

– Does not have heart or vascular diseases;

– Is not pregnant;

– Does not have mental or physical disabilities, autism or related syndromes, or epilepsy;

– Does not use medication that suppresses immunity or negatively affects driving ability;

– Does not have infectious skin problems and/or external inflammations.

Important to know

During this arrangement, you will not enter the water with the sea lions, but you may still get a little wet. When you are near the animals, you may get wet yourself when they come out of the water. So bring a clean set of clothes just to be sure.
