Afterwards, you can see everything with your own eyes during a tour starting in the exhibition room, the Delta Experience and a walk up to the exterior of the storm surge barrier. You will receive the colour brochure ‘The Delta Works’ as a reference and souvenir of this special visit to Neeltje Jans. And it can all be done in just two hours! After a reception with coffee and Zeeuwse bolus (provincial delicacy), one of our guides will provide an introduction and a film about the construction of the storm surge barrier. Afterwards, you can see everything with your own eyes during a tour to the exterior of the storm surge barrier. Around noon we serve the “Deltapark” lunch. After lunch, you can visit all the other attractions in your own space. This arrangement includes a trip of 45 minutes through the Oosterschelde National Park on the “Christian B”.

A full day Deltapark Neeltje Jans combined with a visit to the mussel and oyster culture in Yerseke with a walk to the harbour and oyster pits.

You will be welcomed in Yerseke with a cup of coffee/tea and a Zeeuwse bolus. After the reception in Yerseke, you will be guided by an expert guide through the heart of oyster and mussel culture. You will then depart on your own to Deltapark Neeltje Jans where we will serve you cooked Zeeland mussels with fries and salad. As an alternative for guests who do not like mussels, we serve steak tips with mushrooms. After the meal, you will experience the Delta Experience and watch the film about the construction of the Storm Surge Barrier. You will continue on your way by water with a cruise on our tour boat the Christiaan B sailing through the Oosterschelde National Park. Finally, you can see everything with your own eyes during the guided tour through the exhibition and to the Storm Surge Barrier led by an expert guide.
